Meet Dr. George Agyapong, HGI Founder, Speaker, Strategist.
Dr. Agyapong has developed strategic insights and resourceful tools in healthcare and STEM education, scholarship, careers over the last 16 years, as a first generation immigrant and career changer. He moved to the US after college in Ghana and customized his path to Harvard Medical School using strategies that enabled him to complete graduate and undergraduate premed coursework and satisfy research requirements through paid internships and service in the US Army Reserve.
Dr. Agyapong loves to brainstorm career roadblocks and curate academic, financial, and social resources to inform and kindle the career aspirations of his mentees. He has mentored students from many backgrounds including first generation professionals, career changers, international students (undergrad/grad), and adult learners.
